A personal note

Reflection, Sheet Music and Serenade Video

Dear friend,

Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve received many thoughtful messages about “Serenade,” and I’m truly grateful that the piece has found its way into your days. It means a lot to me — especially in a year that has brought both movement and unexpected stillness.

Before the year comes to a close, I’d like to share a small update — and a more personal reflection at the end of this letter.

Many of you have asked about sheet music. While I do plan to release a printed edition eventually, it will take a bit more time. For now, you can download the scores for “Sakna” and “Serenade” on a pay-what-you-want basis — and I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I enjoyed writing them. More to come!

New Video Release - Serenade

I played “Serenade” a few nights ago on my slightly detuned Berdux piano - the original version was recorded on my 1946 Burger & Jacobi upright. I hope it brings a moment of calm and reflection to your day, and perhaps to the closing days of this year as well.

2025 - a closing reflection

Thank you for being part of this journey — it truly means a lot to me.

This past year has been a journey of reflection and rediscovery for me — shaped by challenges that tested my resilience, moments that brought me back to the joy of creating music, and phases that reminded me to slow down and take care of my well-being. I also learned that histamine can have some real final-boss energy.

Along the way, I’ve gained greater clarity about my priorities (health!!), the importance of balance, and the value of staying true to my creative direction. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has accompanied this path, offered support, and encouraged me — you know who you are.

As we move toward 2026, I wish you clarity, steadiness, good health, and the space to focus on what truly matters — creatively, personally, and in your everyday life.

“Some changes look negative on the surface, but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.”
